The Designated Teacher in your child’s school
The designated teacher has the lead responsibility for helping school staff understand the things which affect children’s learning where the child is looked after by the local authority or has previously been looked after including adopted children.
Virtual School and Educational Advisor
The Virtual School acts as a local authority champion to promote the progress and educational attainment of children and young people who are or who have been looked after, including adopted children, so that they achieve educational outcomes comparable to their peers.
