Introduction and Early Days - Training

This training will cover the purpose and planning of introductions and common hopes, fears, and emotions adopters experience.

There will also be advice and support around completing welcome books and videos, questions to ask foster carers and professionals, and issues with family and friends.

The training will explore attachment, strategies to maximise attachment and bonding and how to identify early signs of attachment difficulties. This training is presented by an experienced adopter.

This course is delivered free and can be accessed following approval as adoptive parents.
