Eat, Sleep and Play - Training

Course description

The 3 module training programme considers the challenges involved in everyday family life when parents want their children to eat well, sleep well and play happily but things don’t always go as smoothly as they would wish.

The course explores these challenges from an attachment and trauma perspective to assist parents in better understanding the difficulties that their children have.

It considers ways to support and work with them using PACE and therapeutic parenting. In addition to offering information on a DDP approach and therapeutic parenting the workshops offer parents the opportunity to work in small groups, using everyday scenarios they may encounter to practice using playfulness, acceptance, curiosity, and empathy as an approach to managing these often difficult situations.
